Privacy notice

Better Growing Spaces collects information you choose to send through the contact form: your name, email address, enquiry type, optional page address and message. A hidden anti-spam field and Cloudflare Turnstile help protect the form from automated abuse.

Why the information is used

Contact details and messages are used to respond to enquiries, assess corrections and keep a record of relevant editorial or partnership correspondence. The lawful basis is the site's legitimate interest in operating its contact and editorial processes, or steps taken at your request before entering an agreement where appropriate.

Storage and service providers

Form submissions are stored in the portfolio's Cloudflare D1 database with a site identifier, and an email notification is sent to our editorial inbox. Cloudflare also provides website hosting and security services. Information is kept only for as long as it remains necessary for the enquiry, record-keeping or legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised under the operator's retention process.

Site analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and loading performance to help improve the website. It uses a browser beacon without analytics cookies, and Cloudflare reports aggregate statistics rather than identifying visitors across websites. You can turn this measurement off for your browser on our cookie policy page.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Use the contact form for a privacy request. Do not send sensitive personal information through the general form.
